Secondments

Nursing, medical, scientific, health policy, public health, or allied health personnel, or others working in relevant areas are invited to participate via a secondment program in a variety of bioethical and social research projects.

Potential areas of bioethics research include:

Secondments are available for professionals to expand their knowledge and research experience in bioethics, and to develop ongoing research programs in the area.  Projects will typically run for eight weeks (full-time or part-time equivalent), and will be supervised by relevant chief investigators within the CCRE, who include Associate Professor Ian Kerridge and Dr Rachel Ankeny.  Secondment salaries will be commensurate with current salary scale, and appointments will be by academic nomination.
